A wide band of fabric folds across the shoulders and sits just off them, leaving the collarbone bare and the arms free. Below it the knit is drawn into diagonal ruching that runs from one hip up across the waist, and the skirt is cut with a slit that climbs almost to the hip on one side. It fastens with a zip.
