The embellishment is the whole point. A sheer lace yoke runs across the shoulders and down over the upper arms, packed with crystals, rhinestones and beadwork set in a dense floral pattern — champagne and gold on the black, clear silver on the red. Beneath it the dress is deliberately plain: a matte crepe sheath, long-sleeved, cut to mid-calf with a vent at the centre back.

Fit: Cut close through the bust and waist in a firm, non-stretch crepe. The beaded yoke is rigid and gives nothing across the shoulders, so shoulder width matters more here than on a soft dress.

How to read this. These are garment measurements, taken by hand with the dress laid flat, and the maker allows a 1–2 cm variance. Because the crepe has no stretch, the figures run about 4 cm larger than the body they are cut for — so the 86 cm bust on the S is intended for roughly an 84 cm bust. That 4 cm allowance is consistent across every size and every measurement, which is why the EU, UK and US columns line up cleanly; they are our conversion rather than sizes the maker published.

One figure to treat with caution. The sleeve column is 39–43 cm, which cannot be a shoulder-to-wrist measurement — every photograph shows a sleeve reaching the wrist, and measured against the 112–116 cm garment length that distance works out at roughly 64 cm. The 39–43 cm figure matches the underarm-to-cuff distance instead. The maker does not state where it was measured from, so we are flagging it rather than guessing.

Choosing a size. Go by your bust first — on a fitted sheath it decides the fit, and the shoulders will not stretch to help you. Height and weight are poor guides here: two people of very different builds often take the same size in this cut. If you are between sizes, take the larger.

Care: Dry clean only. The crystals are set on a fine lace ground — store the dress hanging under a garment cover, and dress carefully so jewellery does not catch the beadwork.
